Hurricane Irene Claims – Message From CMIC President

I know this is a very busy and trying time for all. Please be assured that we are doing all in our power to see that all claims are promptly dealt with. Based on the original report we are doing the following:

-on outright flood claims we are issuing the disclaimer letter so the insured can make prompt contact to FEMA

-if there is a question of coverage we are making contact, when possible, with the insured to gather more information to make a coverage determination

-it there is a question of coverage we are assigning adjusters to make contact with the insured and view the loss

We are also taking loss reports directly from the insureds who call and making coverage determinations and advising the insured accordingly. We will continue to provide the service that you have become accustomed to. If you need to contact me I can be reached at the office or on my cell phone at 518-488-7149. Please have a safe holiday.
